Salute Gymnastics Competitive Team
The competitive team is a group of gymnasts choosen by coaches that works on more advanced skills. These skills are then put into routines and performed at meets throughout the state of Iowa and Nebraska. The team competes at the Regional meet in the 7 state region. There are currently there are 51 members of the competitive team comprised of girls.

February 29th-March 2nd, 2025 – Field of Dreams, Horizon Events Center, Des Moines, IA
March 7-9th, 2025 – Omaha Invite, Papillion Landing, Papillion, NE
March 28-30th, 2025 – Xcel State Meet, hosted by Mid-Iowa, Iowa Events Center, Des Moines, IA
April 25-27th, 2025 – Region 4 Xcel Championships, Madison WI
Competitive Team
Features of the course:
- Team practices for two hours at least once per week (options can also be 2,3 or 4 days a week)
- Team is selected by invitation only from the coahes
- Gymnasts will learn routines for USA Gymnastics Xcel and compete at gymnastics meets around Iowa and Nebraska. Xcel Gymnasts who qualify have the option to compete at the Regional meet in our 7 state region (Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Missouri).

Monday 4:00pm - 6:00pm & 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Tuesday 4:00pm - 6:00pm & 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Wednesday 3:30pm - 5:30pm
Thursday 4:00pm - 6:00pm & 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Summer Team Hours:
Monday 5:00-7:00pm
Tuesday 10:00am-12:00pm (G/P/D only) 4:00-6:00pm & 6:00-8:00pm
Wednesday 3:30-5:30pm
Thursday 10:00am-12:00pm (G/P/D only) 5:00-7:00pm
